Wako limited edition model equipped with Cal.9SA5
Wako Main Building is known as a Ginza landmark. The current clock tower is the second generation, having been completed in 1932. This year, 2022, marks the 90th anniversary of its completion and the 75th anniversary of the founding of Wako. To celebrate this memorable year, Grand Seiko will be releasing a Wako limited edition model.

Based on the concept of "combining comfortable use with high-quality aesthetic value at a high level," the watch features an innovative mechanism that achieves 10 vibrations and a power reserve of approximately 80 hours. This movement has earned high praise around the world, and was also installed in the SLGH005 "Birch" model, which won the Men's Watch category at the Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix in 2021.

The dual impulse escapement and twin barrels provide a power reserve of approximately 80 hours, while the balance wheel has a larger moment of inertia than conventional models, ensuring stable accuracy. The newly developed movable date advance mechanism also allows you to enjoy the instantaneous date advance mechanism.
Hidden message at 9 o'clock
The letters "90TH" are printed in transparent ink next to the 9 o'clock index. The letters appear depending on the light, like a secret sign, and are a secret feature that only the owner can enjoy.
The dial features a soft champagne gold pattern that resembles the granite used in the exterior walls of the Wako Main Building. Gold is used throughout, including on the logo and second hand, creating a glamorous look befitting the anniversary year. The words "CLOCK TOWER 90TH ANNIVERSARY" are printed on the case back.
Pre-orders for the game have been accepted since April 6, 2022, and it is scheduled to be released on June 10, Time Memorial Day.
