[New for 2022] Vacheron Constantin Launches Salmon-Colored Traditionnelle Perpetual Calendar Chronograph

Vacheron Constantin unveiled the new Traditionnelle Perpetual Calendar Chronograph at Watches & Wonders 2022. Combining a salmon-colored dial with a platinum case, this complicated model combines a chronograph and a perpetual calendar. It will be available exclusively in boutiques.

　The newly announced "Traditional Perpetual Calendar Chronograph" is a complication that combines a column-wheel chronograph with a perpetual calendar that will not require adjustment until 2100. Like the case, it also features a platinum starry sky and moon phase display with two three-dimensional moons, as well as a tachymeter scale on the dial. The salmon-colored dial gives it a classic look befitting the Traditional collection.

　Since 2006, Vacheron Constantin has been releasing the Collection Excellence Platine, a special limited edition model made of platinum.

The coloring of this boutique-exclusive model, released in 2022, evokes an era when colored dials were a symbol of elegance. The combination of platinum and salmon is embodied in several historic Vacheron Constantin models.

This model represents the brand's technical expertise in the field of grand complications, embodying traditional design codes such as dauphine hands, a railway minute track, a stepped case, and a fluted caseback.

The time is displayed using white gold hands and indices, while the chronograph and date functions are indicated by blued steel hands, making the displays easy to read.

　The caliber 1142QP used in this model was designed in the 1940s and is considered one of the most historic calibers highly prized among watch collectors. The circular graining on the main plate, the Côtes de Genève finish on the bridges, the hand-chamfered edges and the slate-grained finish on the sides, all of which can be seen through the sapphire crystal case back, are particularly striking features that perfectly express this year's brand theme.
