Blancpain introduces two new models for the Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Complete Calendar

Blancpain's Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Complete Calendar is available in two new versions: one in red gold with a blue-graded dial and the other in titanium with an anthracite dial. These unique styles combine two of Blancpain's most iconic worlds: the sporting DNA of the famous Fifty Fathoms diver's watch and the traditional complete calendar with moon phase.

　The new Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Complete Calendar is available in two models: satin-finished red gold and grade 23 titanium. The red gold model features a blue gradient dial with a sunburst finish that catches the light beautifully. Gold hour markers, hands, and moon phase display match the case color, and the dial is fitted with a vibrant blue ceramic inlay unidirectional rotating bezel with a Ceragold™ graduated scale. This color and material combination continues on the case back, which reveals the red gold rotor.

Calendar with no blackout periods

The Bathyscaphe is one of the flagship lines of the Fifty Fathoms collection, which was born in 1956 with the aim of creating a diver's watch of a size suitable for everyday use. It has evolved year by year, and in 2013 it was reinterpreted to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Fifty Fathoms.

　Combining sporty functionality with day, month, and date displays, the Bathyscaphe Complete Calendar reinforces the principles of everyday practicality that gave birth to the original Bathyscaphe. The dial is highlighted by a large aperture at 6 o'clock displaying the moon phase. The Bathyscaphe's automatic movement, 6654.P, is also protected by a date mechanism with a security system, which means that, unlike a typical calendar watch, each display function can be set at any time without risking damage to the movement.

　The titanium model features subtle shades of gray. The sunburst-finished anthracite dial is enhanced by gold hour markers, rhodium-plated hands, and a moon phase display. The anthracite bezel, also made of ceramic with a satin-brushed finish for a modern matte effect, features Liquidmetal™ graduations. Furthermore, the titanium model's gold rotor is coated with anthracite NAC, adding a sporty and dynamic touch.
