H. Moser & Cie. is launching the Streamliner Tourbillon Vantablack® in red gold, featuring an in-house automatic calibre incorporating a flying tourbillon.
The combination of the tourbillon, a traditional complication of haute horlogerie, and Vantablack®, an innovative coating material used in astrophysics and aeronautics, creates a striking contrast: the Streamliner Tourbillon Vantablack® is the epitome of minimalism, ultra-modernity and timelessness.

In this new version of the Streamliner, red gold is used to define the graceful curves of the cushion-shaped case and the integrated bracelet of articulated links. The luxury and beauty for which the Streamliner collection is known is enhanced by the different polished and satin finishes on adjacent surfaces. The deep black of the Vantablack® dial is accentuated by the 5N red gold case, with alternating polished lines and vertical brushed finishes.
This exceptional timepiece's minute flying tourbillon ticks away as if floating through a black hole. A marvel of ingenuity, the HMC 804 automatic calibre is fitted with a double hairspring designed and manufactured by H. Moser & Cie. subsidiary Precision Engineering AG. This pair of hairsprings compensates for the movement of each spring's centre of gravity during expansion, reducing wear and significantly improving precision and isochronism – a continual pursuit of perfection.
Automatic winding (Cal. HMC 804). 21,600 vph. Power reserve approximately 3 days. 5N red gold (diameter 40mm, thickness 12.1mm). Vantablack® dial. Hour and minute hands with Globolight® inserts. The contrast between these two different materials is further accentuated by the red gold hour markers set against the light-piercing, blacker-than-black dial. H. Moser & Cie. has achieved the extremely challenging feat of fixing these hour markers from the back, so that they appear and disappear in the innovative Vantablack® material depending on the viewing angle. This is a testament to the company's years of experience in utilizing Vantablack®, a revolutionary material first developed in 2012. Considered the darkest man-made substance in existence, the jet-black Vantablack® coating is used in astrophysics for telescopes, in the military for thermal camouflage to enhance the stealth of equipment, and in industry for solar panels.
