Chronoswiss has released two models from its new "Spacetimer" collection, the "Moonwalk" and "Jupiter," featuring unique dial decorations, at authorized dealers nationwide from September 1, 2022. The "Spacetimer" collection features a Chronoswiss first display mechanism, featuring an open gear system at the 12 o'clock position that reveals gears that are normally hidden under the dial, minutes and seconds in the center, and a moon phase with date display at the 6 o'clock position.
Chronoswiss "Spacetimer Moonwalk"

The Moonwalk is inspired by the dance step performed by the pop legend that captivated the world, and Chronoswiss has developed a unique guilloched decoration inspired by the steps of an astronaut walking on the moon. The dial, on which the intricate and detailed pattern is hand-engraved, is then coated with metal, giving it a unique organic and distinctive look.
New material "ITR2" and titanium hemispherical moon phase

The hour and date circles at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock on the Moonwalk and Jupiter models are made of ITR2, a new generation material based on carbon nanotubes. It weighs one-eighth the weight of stainless steel and can be finished in a variety of ways, including polished/satin, painted, and sandblasted. The hour circle is partially skeletonized, with a polished front and sandblasted back, creating the impression of floating in space.
Chronoswiss "Spacetimer Jupiter"

Jupiter is the fifth planet from the sun and the largest and heaviest in the solar system, yet its main component is gas. While Earth takes one year to orbit the sun, Jupiter takes 12 years to complete one revolution. Inspired by Jupiter, the planet with its unique rhythm in the universe, the dial decoration of the "Jupiter" represents the gas in Jupiter's atmosphere. Using cutting-edge laser engraving and nano-printing technology, the dial is covered with extremely small irregularities that are indistinguishable from the naked eye.

The hour disc at 12 o'clock and the translucent date disc around the moon phase at 6 o'clock are made of ITR2, an ultra-lightweight composite material based on carbon nanotubes that is one-eighth the weight of stainless steel. The titanium hemispherical moon phase features a moon and stars painted with Super-LumiNova. A new moon occurs when the two moons are perfectly horizontal (axis 3-9), and a full moon occurs when the two moons are perfectly vertical (axis 12-6). A small dot position marker beneath the 31 in the date display indicates that when the Chronoswiss moon is positioned there, you will be able to see a full moon by looking up at the sky.
