Jaeger-LeCoultre will hold the "Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture Online Tour" on Friday, October 21st.

The event was held at the headquarters in the Vallée de Joux in Switzerland, where a video feed was connected to show the state of the manufacture in real time. On the day of the event, Naohiro Hamaguchi, head of the Jaeger-LeCoultre movement department, participated online from the headquarters.

A talk session will be held with Masamasa Hirota, editor-in-chief of Chronos Japan, with whom he has a long-standing relationship, in which he will explain the brand's three signature complicated mechanisms (Gyrotourbillon, Minute Repeater, and Celestial Complication) under the theme of "The Three Pillars of Jaeger-LeCoultre." In addition, viewers will be able to watch the actual assembly of watches and the inside of the manufacture via live streaming.

After the talk session, there will be a Q&A session with Hamaguchi. This will be a rare opportunity to ask questions directly to Hamaguchi, who has continued to design and improve famous watches for numerous watch and movement manufacturers.

This event truly condenses the essence of Jaeger-LeCoultre.

Master Grande Tradition Minute Repeater Perpetual

One of the models that Hamaguchi will be explaining at the event is the "Master Grande Tradition Minute Repeater Perpetual." As its name suggests, this is an ultra-complex watch that combines a minute repeater and a perpetual calendar. Despite housing all these mechanisms, the case is only 13.7mm thick, and is water resistant to 5 bar. It's noteworthy that it's hand-wound (Cal. 950). 76 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve: approximately 38 hours. 18KWG (diameter 43mm, thickness 13.7mm). Water resistant to 5 bar. Limited to 30 pieces worldwide. Price: inquire.
