Valentine's Day 2023 at Wako in Ginza will impress chocolate lovers

Wako, a famous landmark at the Ginza 4-Chome intersection, is a social gathering place for adults and has once again announced its Valentine's Day limited edition chocolates this year.

The popular Chocolat Frais (raw chocolate) is handmade one piece at a time in the company's own atelier in Tokyo. Fifth-generation chef chocolatier Oguma Ryohei has inherited the traditional methods and recipes of Wako's successive chocolatiers, which have been preserved for over 30 years since 1988, while incorporating the essence of the modern era to develop new chocolates.

Ginza Wako Valentine's Day Special

　The yellow heart symbolizes bonheur (happiness) and espoir (hope). With the world now experiencing major changes, this represents the love and gratitude we feel for our loved ones. Based on this concept, a combination of carefully selected fresh ingredients and Wako's finest couverture has been realized. Inspired by the theme color yellow, this year's special flavor is made with osmanthus, golden sesame, kidney beans, kumquats, and more. 　This assortment includes five types of milk chocolate with different cocoa content and five types of bitter chocolate with different cocoa origins and content.
