Audemars Piguet has added three new models to its signature Royal Oak collection, all featuring 18K white gold cases, blue gradient dials, and bezels set with baguette-cut diamonds.

A glittering and elegant new variation
Audemars Piguet has announced three new boutique-exclusive models for its Royal Oak collection: the 34mm and 37mm Royal Oak Automatic, and the 38mm Royal Oak Chronograph.

Automatic movement (Cal. 5800). 28 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve approximately 50 hours. 18K White Gold case (34mm diameter, 8.8mm thick). Water resistant to 5 bar. Boutique exclusive. Estimated price: 1386 million yen (tax included). Scheduled for release in March 2023.
All three watches feature a Grand Tapisserie dial with a gradation called smoky blue tones, an 18K white gold case and bracelet, and a bezel and indexes set with baguette-cut diamonds.

Automatic movement (Cal. 5900). 29 jewels. 28,800 vph. Power reserve approximately 60 hours. 18K White Gold case (37mm diameter, 9.4mm thick). Water resistant to 5 bar. Boutique exclusive. Estimated price: 1483 million yen (tax included). Scheduled for release in March 2023.
The expressive blue of this dial is achieved through a PVD (vapor deposition) coating, which is then applied by rotating the dial and spraying colored varnish to create a gradation around the dial. The color gradation from the center to the outside further accentuates the tapestry guilloched pattern.
The bezel is set with 32 baguette-cut diamonds, while the hour markers are set with 12 baguette-cut diamonds, a first for a 34mm Royal Oak Automatic. The white gold hands are coated with luminous material, allowing you to read the time even in the dark.

In addition, the new model features the latest ergonomic design introduced with the Royal Oak 50th Anniversary model in 2022. The case has wider slopes on both the top and bottom, enhancing the contrast of light between the satin-finished and polished finishes and emphasizing the slender form. The case back is more integrated with the case, making it more comfortable to wear.
The 34mm and 37mm models are also powered by different movements: the former is powered by the caliber 5800 with a power reserve of approximately 50 hours, while the latter is powered by the automatic caliber 5900 with a power reserve of approximately 60 hours. Both movements feature a 22K pink gold rotor with sandblasted, satin-finished, and polished bevels, visible through the transparent caseback.

Automatic movement (Cal. 2385). 37 jewels. 21,600 vph. Power reserve approximately 40 hours. 18K White Gold case (38mm diameter, 11mm thick). Water resistant to 5 bar. Boutique exclusive. Price upon request. Scheduled for release in March 2023.
The chronograph specifications are also basically the same. They are equipped with the automatic caliber 2385 with a power reserve of approximately 40 hours. While the two three-hand models have a solid 18K white gold case back, the chronograph model has a solid 18K white gold case back.
