A splendid gathering of guests on Mykonos Island overlooking the Aegean Sea
The Seamaster, which was born in 1948, celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2023. To commemorate this, Omega held a launch event for the Seamaster Summer Blue Collection on the Greek island of Mykonos. Mykonos is a famous Greek destination surrounded by the Aegean Sea, and the event was held on a grand scale amidst the breathtaking scenery overlooking the ocean.

Guests included familiar brand ambassadors such as George Clooney and Naomie Harris, as well as other high-profile guests such as Blair Tooke, Peter Berling and Victor Vescovo.
The event theme was "Precision at Every Level," and featured talk sessions on ocean exploration and marine conservation by celebrities deeply involved in the ocean, including explorer Victor Vescovo.

Also at the event, the Summer Blue Collection was announced as a brand-wide series celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Seamaster. This series, which includes 11 new Seamaster models in 7 models, features a new concept, "Summer Blue," on the dial. Each model's water resistance is expressed through a different blue gradation color.

Speaking at the 75th anniversary event, Omega's current President and CEO, Raynald Aeschlimann, said, "The many tributes paid to the Seamaster in Greece this year are a testament to its versatility. This timepiece is eye-catching and stylish, yet can also withstand harsh environments. The Seamaster name is a legend that embodies all of these qualities, and it continues to evolve 75 years after its creation."
