Breitling announced its partnership with the Surfrider Foundation during a beach cleanup in Biarritz, France. The Surfrider Foundation is a globally recognized nonprofit organization that protects the world's oceans, waves, and beaches through research, education, and advocacy.
A joint mission towards a plastic waste-free ocean
In addition to achieving zero plastic waste at its global operations by 2025, Breitling is also making innovative plastic transitions, including adopting watch boxes made from 100% recycled PET and introducing a line of watch straps made from salvaged fishing nets.
Breitling has committed to supporting the Surfrider Foundation's research and efforts to tackle plastic pollution, as well as to leading beach cleanups around the world. The cleanups will have a multifaceted impact: protecting and improving coastal environments, contributing to Surfrider's advocacy efforts through data collection, and encouraging participants to make positive lifestyle changes for healthier oceans.
