Jaeger-LeCoultre has unveiled two new models in its Dazzling Rendez-Vous collection. The dials are seamlessly set with diamonds, highlighting the distinctive bezel design of the Dazzling Rendez-Vous. One model is paired with a vibrant red alligator strap, while the other is paired with a pink gold bracelet seamlessly set with diamonds.

Advanced gem setting techniques
The new Dazzling Rendez-Vous Night & Day model in the Dazzling Rendez-Vous collection is the first to feature a dial seamlessly set with diamonds. It features grain-set diamonds radiating from the center of the dial. The symmetrical pattern, in which hundreds of diamonds are held in place by small, inconspicuous gold beads (round prongs), demonstrates the high level of skill of the gem-setters working at the Métiers d'Art workshop. The dial and case are set with a total of 590 diamonds (approximately 4.67 carats), which took 58 hours to complete.

Dazzling Rendezvous Night and Day
The new Dazzling Rendez-Vous Night & Day is available with a shiny alligator strap in a vibrant red that contrasts with the brilliance of the gemstones, or a high jewelry pink gold bracelet. First created for the Dazzling Rendez-Vous Shooting Star in 2022, this bracelet is comprised of diamond-shaped links that flow smoothly like a supple ribbon, gently adorning the wrist. The links, which require a further 80 hours of gem-setting, are grain-set with a total of 436 diamonds (4.87 carats), bringing the total number of diamonds in this high jewelry model to 1026 (approximately 9.54 carats).
A fusion of feminine aesthetics and mechanical sophistication
Among the many watchmaking complications created exclusively for the Rendez-Vous, the Night & Day mechanism displays the 24-hour cycle in a fascinating way: a mother-of-pearl disc rotates from day to night, while polished gold suns and crescent moons alternate against a backdrop of stars.
The Dazzling Rendez-Vous Night & Day's 36mm case houses the Caliber 898, a self-winding mechanical movement designed, developed and manufactured in-house. The transparent sapphire caseback reveals delicate decorations and finishes in classic watchmaking style, including blued screws, circular graining and the Côtes de Genève stripes on the openworked pink gold winding rotor.
