Vacheron Constantin has released the new Traditionnelle Tourbillon, a 41mm platinum watch with a majestic green dial with a sunburst pattern.

　This hue, highlighted by the matching alligator strap, gives the model depth and majesty. Powered by the ultra-thin in-house automatic caliber 2160/1, this model displays the hours and minutes with central hands and the small seconds on the tourbillon cage at 6 o'clock. The 22K gold peripheral rotor ensures the caliber's thinness and an unobstructed view of the movement, making the Traditionnelle Tourbillon a perfect blend of classic aesthetics and contemporary design.

Caliber 2160/1 born from tradition

　The tourbillon's regulator beats at 18,000 vibrations per hour (2.5Hz). This slow rhythm, traditionally used in pocket watches, is the perfect frequency for appreciating the graceful movement of the tourbillon mechanism. The movement's finishing is also impeccable, with circular graining on the dial and a hand-chamfered bridge with Côtes de Genève on the caseback.

　The tourbillon, with its Maltese cross carriage displaying the small seconds with a black screw, is a testament to the attention to detail: to achieve its conical and semi-cylindrical shape, the material is filed and polished, entirely by hand.
