Nomos Glashütte

NOMOS Glashütte was founded in 1990. The brand offers a variety of functional watches, inspired by the station clocks that once stood at Glashütte Station. The basic design of the Tangente, which has been the brand's flagship model since its launch in 1992, comes from the Deutscher Werkbund, the origin of the prestigious Bauhaus art school. Founded in 1907, the organization combined handmade and machine-made techniques to create high-quality products accessible to a wide range of customers. Prior to World War II, the company produced a wide variety of timepieces. This philosophy is still present at NOMOS Glashütte today, and the brand offers a range of reasonably priced watches, all of which feature in-house movements.
